Bob Christian Fund

Established in 2012, the Bob Christian Fund supports local historical research initiatives in Allegany County, NY.

The Bob Christian Fund was created by the Allegany County Area Foundation to honor Robert Christian for his service as Executive Director from 2003 to 2011.

This Field-of-Interest Fund provides financial support for ongoing historical research and preservation related to Allegany County, NY.

Donors noted Bob’s dedication to “philanthropic excellence” and “community improvement.”

In recent years, the Bob Christian Fund has provided resources for Canaseraga’s Marjorie Dieter Mastin Historical Society, the Allegany County Historical Society, and Bolivar’s Pioneer Oil Museum of New York.
