Hillside and Valley Brook Cemeteries

(October 2021) An anonymous donor has established a fund with the Allegany County Area Foundation (ACAF) for the benefit of Andover’s Hillside and Valley Brook cemeteries.

New York’s rural cemeteries face financial challenges borne of rising costs, changing traditions, general economics, and regulatory policy. The Fund for the Hillside and Valley Brook Cemeteries will offer annual support, starting in 2022, to help these two cemeteries maintain their grounds and meet the needs of the Andover community.
