The Allegany County Area Foundation Names New Director

Bruce Campbell of Houghton, NY has accepted the position as the new Executive Director of the Allegany County Area Foundation. Campbell replaces Denis Dahlgren who has moved to the Syracuse area to be closer to his family.

Bruce has been a resident of the area for 27 years. His wife Denise works as a pre-k teacher at the Fillmore Central School. They have three children: Rob, Ryan and Joshua.

For the last 10 years Bruce has served as the director of graduate admissions at St. Bonaventure University. He obtained a Master of Arts degree in Behavior Science at Kean College in Union, NJ and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Houghton College.

His community involvement includes working with the Fillmore Little League at different times since 1993. He has also been involved with the Genesee Rapids Summer Collegiate Baseball League since 2014.
